- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer sensor thresholds to falsify challenge results — our CV filter exists to keep counts honest.

Important: Browser pedometers are estimates, not medical devices. Distance = steps × (height × 0.415); Calories = distance × kg × 1.036. Values depend on your inputs and sensor quality. Accuracy is affected by phone placement (pocket is best), screen-on state (browsers pause sensors when the screen is off), walking cadence, and device hardware. In front-pocket tests we observe ~3–7% variance vs native step counters, but results vary.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Because processing is local-only and we store no personal data server-side, closing the tab or clearing localStorage removes your data.
